“There were many turning points in their history, but there was no more important, or vital, turning point than this particular one which we are going to to deal with. For it is here as you will see and remember, that these children of Israel insisted upon having a king, an earthy king over them, as the other nations of the world had.”

We’ve visited 1 Samuel 8 as an important passage for the Christian church today. We are living in a time of striking similarities to the calls of the Israelites for a King to reign over them, and thus rejecting God as their King.
