I was once asked my opinion on a church that would focus on Anarchy. My response, most likely not what the inquirer wanted to hear, was that I think church should only be the topic of Christ and never split with anything else. However, when you do that, when you preach Christ, you will inevitably run across themes relevant to Christian Anarchy. And this is true for any topic that is regularly put on to the same platform with Christ, to draw the natural attention of the target audience.

I find this sermon from the great Martyn Lloyd Jones to be no different. I am admittedly an ardent listener to MLJ. It is safe to say I’ve heard more sermons from him than any other preacher.

This sermon finds Jones expounding specifically on Ephesians [2:19], “So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,” Jones does a remarkable job of explaining Nations, Citizenship, and where the Christian should be focused, without using any buzzwords or incendiary terms such as Nationalism or Anarchy. To the attentive listener, conclusions can be drawn that explain precisely why I’ve included this sermon on AnarchoChristian.
